Beginner Pilates Reformer – 5 Week Course

$125.00

Our new, state-of-the-art Pilates Reformer Studio, located in St Peters is where we offer our 5 Week Beginners Pilates Reformer Course, which has been specifically written by PPP’s Founder and Principal Physiotherapist (who has over 20 years of Pilates and physiotherapy experience), Rachel Combe. The Pilates Reformer comprises a frame with a sliding carriage which attaches to one end with varying strengths of springs to provide resistance.

There are also straps which have loops where feet or hands are placed in to do further exercises. The benefits of Reformer exercises include strengthening of large muscles groups including abdominals in a longer, leaner way, increased flexibility, improved balance and better aerobic fitness.

Participants can expect to learn the basics of Pilates principles and apply them to a variety of Reformer exercises, learn how to adjust the equipment, and move on the Reformer safely.

Once the 5 Week Course is completed, participants can continue with our ongoing Reformer classes available at St. Peters or attend Mat and Barre classes at our other studios at Parkside, Glynde and Stirling.
