About
Jayne has always enjoyed movement and values the power that an active lifestyle has in improving quality of life. Whether it be empowering others to achieve their goals or working toward her own, Jayne is passionate and committed to seeing people succeed.
From a young age, Jayne has been interested in dance and has had experience in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary styles. She has followed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet syllabus through to completion of the advanced grades earning herself a Level 4 Diploma in Vocational Graded Examination in Dance (Ballet). This, along with interest in other sporting pursuits such as running, basketball and netball, meant that it was only natural for Jayne to pursue movement based tertiary studies. She completed a Bachelor in Human Movement: Exercise and Sports Science in 2008 followed by a Graduate Entry Masters in Physiotherapy in 2011, both at the University of South Australia. She is currently completing a Masters in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy.
Jayne has had experience in hospital and private practice physiotherapy. She especially enjoys teaching Pilates in both individual rehabilitation and class settings with a special interest in dance rehabilitation. In her spare time, Jayne loves quality time with friends and family, music, dancing, being outdoors, travel and even trying her hand at learning French. She has a keen interest in international development having had an opportunity to practice physiotherapy in Uganda for a short time.
