You don’t need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist. However, if you do have a referral from your GP, please bring it along to your first appointment.

Our standard physiotherapy appointments are 30 minutes. However, if you have more complex issues or multiple areas needing attention, we offer extended 60-minute consultations. During your Initial Consultation, your physiotherapist will develop a personalised Treatment Plan, providing a provisional diagnosis and recommending the number of follow-up visits.

We prioritize individualised care: each physiotherapist sees only one client at a time, ensuring dedicated, undivided attention throughout your session.

We accept TCA/Medicare patients with a valid referral or care plan from their GP. While we don’t offer bulk-billing, we provide a convenient Medicare on-the-spot claim service. This allows you to only pay the remaining balance of our standard consult fee, which is due on the day of service.

We accept Return to Work and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. For these appointments, please bring your doctor’s referral and claim details to your first session. Clients are required to pay for treatments in full at the time of service and are responsible for submitting their own claims for reimbursement.

If you have private health insurance with Physiotherapy Extras, your treatment may be partially covered. Since coverage varies across providers, we recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific details regarding your plan.

For details of fees and item codes see Physio and Rehab Fees.

Our physiotherapists offer appointments throughout the week, with additional options for early mornings, evenings, and Saturday mornings for added convenience. Please book ahead, as these out-of-business-hours slots fill up quickly. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling 8339 3188.

Yes, Stirling is wheelchair accessible.

We don’t currently offer this option. To stay updated on any news and new offerings at our clinic, please subscribe to our newsletter.

Yes, we offer HICAPS for instant health insurance rebates. This convenient facility allows your health fund to cover its portion of the consultation on the spot, so you only need to pay the remaining balance (the gap).

The gap payment, or the full amount if you’re not covered by private health insurance, is due on the day of your appointment. We accept major credit cards and cash for your convenience.

Yes, we offer a $10 discount on the gap for clients with Government Issued Health Care or Concession Cards. Simply present your card at your first appointment, and we’ll record the relevant details to apply the discount.

To ensure valuable appointments are not lost, we kindly request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations where possible. If less than 12 hours’ notice is given, a $50 fee may apply ($100 for a 60-minute Long Consultation). Cancellations with less than 3 hours’ notice or no-shows may incur the full fee.

If you require any medical imaging (e.g., x-ray, ultrasound), we can provide a referral for you to have it done. Once your results are returned to us, we will review them with you and explain what they mean to help you understand your condition better.

Comfortable clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt or singlet is ideal, as well as any clothing suitable for exercise. Depending on the area being assessed, we may ask you to remove items such as trousers or shirts to allow us to examine the hips, knees, back, and shoulders effectively.

No, you don’t need to be in pain to see a physiotherapist. Physiotherapy can be highly beneficial for preventative care, screening, and maintenance treatment. Regular sessions help improve mobility, posture, and flexibility, identify potential issues before they become painful, and prevent injuries. We are committed to care for you throughout your life and help keep your body functioning optimally for long-term wellness.

We are qualified to treat children with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries, as well as provide sports and dance screenings. However, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during their appointments.
