Physio Pilates Proactive was established 16 years ago and has practices/Pilates studios in Stirling, Parkside, St Peters and Glynde. Our philosophy has a strong self-management emphasis and we use Pilates frequently to support this active approach to rehabilitation.
We have an incredibly cohesive team of physios and admin staff where everyone respects each other and themselves. Work-life balance is important, and we constantly strive to accommodate our staff's outside commitments. We periodically get together for social engagements and enjoy each other's company.

A fantastic opportunity exists to join our team as a Remedial Massage Therapist initially working at our practices in St Peters and Parkside. The position is part-time initially (around 20-25 hours) but could grow to full-time if the successful candidate prefers this and as client base grows.
The desirable applicant will:
- Have 2+ years of massage therapy experience
- Have appropriate massage therapy qualifications to allow full private health insurance claiming
- Have a good understanding and proficiency with being able to quickly establish caseload
- Have a friendly, cheerful personality
- Be a great team player and establish rapport with peers
- Take initiative and ownership of their caseload as well as the overall practice
- Be motivated and passionate about the integration of massage therapy, physiotherapy and Pilates services as a wholistic approach to patient care
- Have good time management and be able to work autonomously
- Be compassionate, enthusiastic and listen to our clients' needs
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and integrity as a massage therapist
- Be an Australian resident, be an AAMT member or equivalent, and have current appropriate professional insurance cover
- Be flexible with working hours which will include some evening and weekend work

We also strongly believe in educating our clients about their bodies and encourage them to attend regular Pilates classes to regain, maintain and build their health.

All of our 11 physios are Certified Polestar Rehabilitation Practitioners (or undergoing training currently), which makes us one of the most consistent, high quality Pilates studios in Australia.
A fantastic opportunity exists to join our team as a Pilates trained physiotherapist at our St Peters practice. The position is part-time (around 15-18 hours) but could build to full-time as caseload grows. The desirable applicant will:
- Have 2+ years of physio experience, most of which in private practice
- Have minimum of 1-year Pilates teaching (ideally Reformer classes) experience and provide some evidence of some formal qualification/professional development, ideally with Polestar Pilates
- Have a good understanding and proficiency with being able to quickly establish caseload
- Ideally live locally
- Have a friendly, cheerful personality
- Be a great team player and establish rapport with peers
- Have excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Take initiative and ownership of their caseload as well as the overall practice
- Be motivated and passionate about high quality client education and self/active management
- Be committed to continuing professional development
- Be highly confident with manual skills and Pilates prescription
- Have good time management and be able to work autonomously
- Be compassionate, enthusiastic and listen to our clients' needs
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and integrity as a physiotherapist
- Be an Australian resident, have SA Physio Registration, have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and current professional indemnity insurance
- Be flexible with working hours which will include some evening and weekend work, and be prepared to join the Polestar Certification program within 12 months (if does not already hold a formal Pilates qualification)
