Physiotherapist
“I love helping people understand their bodies a little better – education is very empowering. When clients come to see me feeling sore, using my hands to make them feel better is very satisfying!”
About
Catherine joined the PPP team in 2016, bringing with her over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist. She started her career at Flinders Medical Centre, before moving into the private practice world. For the past 15+ years, she has worked as a generalist musculoskeletal and hydrotherapy practitioner at centres in Torrens Park and Melrose Park. During this time, she also became a proud mother, once, twice and then three times!
In 2005 Catherine completed her Masters in Physiotherapy and has worked for many years at the University of South Australia as a Clinical Educator in the undergraduate physiotherapy program. Here she teaches early clinical skills such as massage and manual handling.
Much of Catherine’s out-of-work time and energy is spent cooking for her three busy boys. A self-confessed lover of good food and recipe experimentation, Catherine is thrilled by the voracious appetites of her family! While she describes herself as not being the most skilled netball player, she loves the game passionately and nothing stands in the way of her Thursday morning ‘social’ match.
